What will be your daily pursuit?:
Your daily pursuit helping our guests make memories, whether by suggesting the perfect fly choice or suggesting a great spot to hit the river!
What will you do in this job?:
Discuss details and handle bookings for rentals, self-guided trips, and fishing school services
Help keep rental watercraft clean and organized
Process guest information for fishing licenses
Educate guests about local fishing regulations
Use working knowledge of fly-fishing methods, techniques, and gear to provide a great guest experience
Engage guests – assist with selection and advice in choosing products and information about the park
Keep the shop looking great – clean, organized, and set up!
Handle cash and credit transactions
Help maintain inventory and up to date product availability
Offer assistance to guests and teammates where needed
Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
Fly Fishing and Fly Fishing Retail experience strongly preferred
Work ethic and commitment to teammates and guests
Retail experience preferred but not required – we are happy to train!
Be willing and able to work alone or as part of a larger team
Be organized with a great eye for detail
Be kind to others and always bring your best
Be are a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions
Be helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mile
Be relaxed, flexible and able to handle a few curve balls
