Fender American Acoustisonic Tele/Strat - $1,300 (Whitefish)

I’ve got a basically new 2023 Fender Tele Acoustisonic as well as a 2021 Fender Strat Acoustisonic that is also basically new.
Both are in Sunburst albeit the tele sunburst is more brown and the strat Sunburst is more reddish orange.
Both are very neat.
These retail for $2000 plus tax but I’m asking $1300 each obo.
It’s almost fiscally irresponsible not to save yourself $700 this close to Christmas.
These guitars are great for the electric player who wants the feel of an electric but wants to get some different acoustic tones.
It’s also great for someone who wants to seamlessly switch between acoustic and electric during their gigs.
They’re made to be used with acoustic strings but depending on your style you can use electric strings as well.
They come with a USB cord.
It takes about 4 hours to charge it for 20 hours of plugged in use.
No need to worry about replacing batteries.
These also make a great practice guitar as they’re loud enough to be heard but are much quieter than an acoustic guitar.
You need to plug them in to get the full benefit but if it’s late and you don’t want to wake anyone up they’re a good choice.
This is a good chance to try something different for a lot cheaper than it would cost to buy the same thing from a store.
The way I look at guitar buying in general is as long as you’re buying it for a fair price you’re really just renting or borrowing it.
You can buy it for $1300 and play it for however long you want and turn around and sell it for basically the same price you paid.
At that point you essentially got to play a cool guitar for free.
This logic can be used to buy any number of things but I prefer if you use it to justify buying one of my guitars.
