Class A CDL Delivery Driver

Who We Are: Watkins Distributing is a family owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations.
Job Summary: The delivery driver will be responsible for local delivery activities within a defined territory.
Duties/Responsibilities: Complete a pre-trip vehicle inspection.
Drive assigned route, delivering beer in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
Unload product from trailer using a pallet jack and/or hand truck.
Check product in with store personnel.
Fill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery.
Pick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered product for credit.
Collect on invoices and complete detailed route paperwork daily Rotate all product according to company standards.
Be courteous to customers and their employees at all times.
Communicate effectively with sales reps Performs other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills/Abilities: Excellent time management skills.
Thorough knowledge of territory, market, and clients.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Customer service skills Requirements: Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.
Must be able to lift 25-35lbs regularly, and 160lbs to waist level.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Class-A CDL license, and a medical card.
Must be able to navigate with a hand truck full of product.
Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices.
