Job Summary:
Conduct waste removal, segregation, and recycling, for lodges in Glacier National Park.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: Late-April through early-October (exact dates vary by position)
Pay: $19.
50/hr
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)
Housing: Employee housing may not be available

Responsibilities:
Coordinate waste/recycling removal in accordance with established schedule.
Sanitation and recycling trucks are provided.
Employee is responsible for returning truck to staging locations at end of each shift.
Inspection vehicles pre/post shift for maintenance or operating needs; report all safety concerns to management.
Clean assigned vehicle to ensure professional appearance and to reduce the potential for wildlife attraction.
Safely operate vehicles and equipment.
Maintain and update daily pick-up records and landfill disposal weights.
Provide solid waste/recycling education as requested.
Follow environmental and safety practices, policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Be a minimum of (21) years of age.
Must possess a valid U.
S.
Driver's License, pass DOT physical exam, and pre-employment/random drug screens, and comply with Xanterra Driver Safety Program.
Ability to operate box trucks (one ton) and lift gates.
Ability to work with minimum supervision and complete assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner.
Physical Requirements include:
Must be able to sit, walk, stand, bend, and/or lift continuously during an 8-10 hour shift.
Must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
